Civil Litigation  | Family Law | Personal Injury

Ted was admitted to practice law in Oregon in 1985. Ted was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Maryland. Ted served 4 years in the Marine Corps. Ted studied in Tokyo, Japan, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies and Sociology at Sophia University. Ted went on to earn a Masters degree in International Relations from the same university. Ted came to Portland, Oregon in 1979 and worked for three years as a insurance underwriter and claims adjuster, an experience which afforded him additional background in the field of personal injury. In 1982, Ted worked as a court clerk in Multnomah County for the Honorable Mercedes F. Deiz, while attending law school at Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. His experiences as a clerk offered helpful insight into the workings of the state court, and the work entailed primarily family law proceedings. Ted is married and is the proud father of four boys.
