Alex Sollars is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He studied anthropology/archaeology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, earning a BA in 2002. He came to Oregon in 2006 after living in several other states and abroad. Alex was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2013 after graduating from Lewis and Clark College of Law. Alex volunteered at the St. Andrew Legal Clinic while earning his law degree, where he worked as a staff attorney after being admitted to the bar. Alex has been in private practice since 2017. Alex works primarily in family law and probate law. He believes that there is nothing more important than one’s family, and he strives to protect familial relationships and promote safe and healthy lives for children. Alex often represents children in family law cases. With 10 years of experience working in family law, Alex is an effective advocate for his clients. When not in the office, at court, or meeting with clients in their homes, Alex enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family.
