Harshi's practice is exclusive to business law and employment and family immigration law at present, but she brings a wealth of experience to this firm having practiced in corporate, contract, non-profit and employment law areas including a stint of corporate secretary/counsel to two corporations previously. Harshi has been a member of the Oregon State Bar from September 2003 (OSB #03376).As a business/employment immigration attorney, she assists employers obtain temporary visas (H-1B, L-1 A and B, TN, E-3, O-1) and permanent residency (PERM) for immigrant employees in a variety of vocations, including engineers, scientists, chefs, and musicians. She has represented multinational companies, small business owners, and entrepreneurial investors. She works closely with Human resources personnel to help their companies attract and retain the best talent around the world. Harshi also assists individuals/ families in obtaining permanent residency ( Green Card) for their spouses and children, parents, siblings; naturalization (United States Citizenship); investor visas(E-1 and E-2); finance' visas (K-1 and 2); and religious worker visas (R-1).Harshi has first-hand experience dealing with US immigration system since she personally experienced it as a first-generation immigrant. She enjoys assisting others to navigate the system with professional expertise and great care. She also has substantial experience in representing businesses of various types-from family owned small businesses to established corporations, domestic and international, on a wide range of issues involving entity formation, contract negotiations, and business transactions. Harshi has been previously employed at Elliot Ostrander & Preston PC and Stoel Rives LLP, interned at the Oregon Legislative Counsel's office and State Legislature, and worked as a Corporate secretary/Counsel to two international corporations. In her leisure, Harshi volunteers at non-profit community organizations and her daughter's school, plays tennis for league teams, hike, travel, cook and enjoy spending time with her family and friends.
